About
Hi.
This is my website. And that’s me in the picture.
I’m a news editor for Popular Mechanics, the storied magazine now part of the Hearst Enthusiast Group. I started at PopMech in July of 2024.
I previously worked as a features reporter for The Express-Times (in print) and lehighvalleylive.com (on the internet). In that role, I tackled an extensive mélange of topics — 175-year-old cemeteries, cheesesteak condiments, cutting hair, high school theater competitions, historic city council appointments, anonymous guerrilla chalk artists, other very normal things. I also did plenty of pitching in on our coverage of breaking crime and public safety news as well as provide copyediting support.
I received a bachelor’s of journalism with a specific focus on magazine writing in 2019 from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
My life outside of the news world is almost exclusively spent watching movies or basketball and walking my dog, Charlie.
If you want to get in touch with me, keep scrolling down, all the info is there. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Even if it’s just to say hi or ask what I had for lunch (I’ll save you the time, it was a peanut butter sandwich and a Granny Smith apple).
Thanks.
